  • Oro Valley Historical Society-Program with Lee Krsiean

    Join the Oro Valley Historical Society to hear former CIA analyst Lee Krsiean speak about communication throughout our state in the 1800s. Communication across long distances using reflected light signals was probably used by pre-Columbian natives in Arizona.  During the 1880s in Arizona, United States Army soldiers used high-quality, light-reflecting heliographs for communication and to provide security for early settlers.
