Many everyday heroes call Oro Valley home, and our community is proud to recognize and support our military veterans, active-duty service members, and first responders—those who protect, heal, and serve with honor.
Oro Valley is one of the safest communities in Arizona, largely thanks to the outstanding leadership and service of the Oro Valley Police Department, known for its proactive community engagement and support programs.
The Golder Ranch Fire District provides top-tier fire protection and emergency medical services across Oro Valley and the surrounding areas. These professionals remain on call 24/7 to keep our community safe and prepared.
Oro Valley is the home of the Arizona Heroes Memorial, a place of reflection, remembrance, and gratitude. This tribute honors military veterans, first responders, and healthcare workers who have selflessly served and sacrificed.
