How did the Oro Valley Historical Society come about?  The exhibit this month will dive into the beginnings of the Society, as we celebrate our 20^th anniversary.  Included in our display will be meteorites from around the world, including Jim Kriegh’s meteorite collection.  Jim has been referred to as the Father of Oro Valley, and along with two others, founded the Oro Valley Historical Society and was instrumental in the Town’s acquisition of Steam Pump Ranch.  Volunteers will be on hand to answer questions and provide additional information. Tours of the Museum are free, and donations are most welcome to keep Oro Valley history alive!
