Tucson Gem and Mineral Society, Inc.

Founded in 1946, the Tucson Gem and Mineral Society is a nonprofit dedicated to advancing knowledge of geology, mineralogy, and lapidary arts among members and the public. The society hosts educational classes, desert field trips, and the world-renowned Tucson Gem and Mineral Show. For over 40 years it has also supported mineral collections at the University of Arizona and the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum.
