ORO VALLEY, Ariz. (September 18, 2026) – The Town of Oro Valley has published its FY 2026/27 Know Your Town’s Budget summary, a resident-friendly guide created to make the Town’s budget easier to understand.
The Town’s adopted FY 2026/27 budget totals $127.99 million, a 15.5% decrease from the adopted FY 2025/26 budget. The summary presents this information in a clear, accessible format so residents can quickly see the overall size of the budget and better understand the financial plan for the year ahead.
The Know Your Town’s Budget document is designed to give residents a straightforward overview of how the Town budget works, why it matters and how it supports the services and facilities the community depends on every day. It also helps explain key budget concepts in plain language, including the fact that Oro Valley does not levy a municipal property tax.
“The release of the Know Your Town Budget reflects our commitment to transparency and accountability,” said Town Manager Jeff Wilkins. “We want residents to clearly understand how public dollars are invested to maintain services, support priorities, and strengthen Oro Valley’s future.”
The Know Your Town’s Budget summary reflects the Town’s continued commitment to open communication and public access to information. Making budget information easier to review and understand helps residents engage more fully with Town government.
