AmoChip Dabney is a multi-instrumentalist, including Bass, Guitar, Sax, Keys, Vocals, as well as Composer, Producer, Engineer, and Two-Time Grammy Nominee. Amo has performed with George Howard, Heather Hardy, Sam Taylor, the Blue Lizards, The Rowdies, Neon Prophet, Kevin Pakulis, The Wayback Machine, Anna Warr, Bob Seger, Cyrile Neville, Stephen Stills, and more. In 2004, Amo created The AmoSphere!, which has become one of Tucson’s premier jam bands, playing the best venues with a loyal following in attendance. The band includes Billy Yates on guitars, Clay Brown on saxophones, Martin Tiernan on drums, Dr. Andy Hannon on keyboards, and Paul Cervantes on percussion. All six band members sing. The musical genre of The AmoSphere! is diverse, cross-regional, and deliberately danceable with the energy to move your body and soul: “Nawlin’s” Funk, R&B, Reggae, Latin, Blues, Rock, and Originals.
