The Great Banjo Summit and Other Things with Strings

What started as a simple jam session between new friends turned into pure magic. The Great Banjo Summit brings together three accomplished banjoists with wildly different styles. Former New Christy Minstrel Rob Wright leads the group with vocals, humor, and a rotation of banjo, ukulele, and guitar. World-renowned seven-string guitarist Howard Alden adds tenor banjo, tenor guitar, and ukulele. Tyler Jackson rounds out the trio on tenor banjo, tenor guitar, ukulele, and bass. Ray Templin on drums and Evan Dain on bass complete the lineup. Catch some of the very best string players around, right here in Tucson.
