The Rillito River Band, a vintage rock ‘n’ roll group, originated from a meeting of musicians on the banks of the Rillito River in Tucson, Arizona, inspiring their name. These long-time Tucsonans draw from a rich heritage that includes mariachi, folk, folk rock, and primarily vintage rock.
Their influences range from The Beatles and The Rolling Stones to Creedence Clearwater Revival and Thin Lizzy, Van Morrison and The Eagles to The Beach Boys and The Kinks, The Knack, and Tommy James. At their performances, you’ll enjoy a mix of these classic hits and some original songs. Suitable for ages 16 and up.
