The Farmer & Adele: Western Swing Reimagined
Nashville’s The Farmer & Adele—led by Grace Adele and Keenan Wade—are breathing new life into western swing while honoring its rich heritage. This award-winning duo blends classic songwriting with modern sensibilities, creating entertainment that captivates audiences of all ages.
With two Ameripolitan Awards (2019 Western Swing Female of the Year and 2020 Western Swing Band of the Year), The Farmer & Adele continue to push creative boundaries. Their accomplishments include a daily radio show, “On The Trail with The Farmer & Adele,” a children’s album titled Songs For Lil Cowpokes, and an upcoming full-length release, Old + New Western Classics (2024).
Their beloved annual Country and Western Christmas Party tour features classic holiday favorites, original songs, and a western swing twist on The Nutcracker—recently released as a single with Paul Kowert of The Punch Brothers.
True to their innovative spirit, the group is developing a unique live puppet show co-written with Texas Bix Bender of Riders Radio Theatre. Focusing on food sustainability, roots music, and celebrating diversity, the show features colorful characters like Hank Snowpea and Tater Swift. From music to puppetry, The Farmer & Adele are redefining what it means to be modern cowboys and cowgirls.
