Code Ninjas Oro Valley will celebrate its Grand Opening on Saturday, July 25, with a family-friendly community event at its new Dojo in Oro Valley Marketplace, located at 12125 N Oracle Rd #129, Tucson, AZ 85737.
The celebration will be open to the public from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with a ribbon cutting planned for approximately 9:45 AM. Families are invited to tour the new learning center, meet the Code Sensei team, and take part in hands-on activities designed to introduce kids ages 5–15 to coding in a fun, creative, and approachable way.
The event will include Game Building Sessions, robot coding, prize drawings, entertainment, food, and a special Grand Opening offer available to families who attend. Families can also learn more about upcoming opportunities for kids and parents to explore technology, creativity, and problem-solving together. Game Building Session spots are limited, and families who reserve a session in advance will receive extra drawing tickets.
“As a locally owned business, opening Code Ninjas Oro Valley means a lot to us,” said Brittany Kevan, Owner of Code Ninjas Oro Valley. “We want this Dojo to be a place where kids feel supported, challenged, and excited to learn. Where they can build games, code robots, develop real-world skills, and discover that they are capable of more than they imagined.”
Code Ninjas uses a game-based curriculum to help kids learn computer programming while building confidence, creativity, problem-solving skills, and perseverance. Students, known as Ninjas, advance at their own pace with support from Code Senseis, who guide and mentor them throughout their learning journey.
