Dr. Elizabeth Butler is a highly experienced cardiothoracic surgeon with over 15 years in the field. She specializes in complex heart and lung surgeries, including coronary artery bypass, mitral and tricuspid valve repair, aortic valve disease, and minimally invasive lung cancer procedures. She also treats non-cancerous lung conditions such as infections and pneumonia.
Dr. Butler emphasizes a patient-centered approach, ensuring each individual is fully comfortable with their treatment plan. Originally from Texas, she completed her education and training in Texas, Arizona, and Wisconsin. After practicing in the Midwest for nine years, she returned to Tucson in 2016.
She founded Tucson CT Surgery to provide more personalized care and focus on her patients’ overall well-being. As a mother of three, she values the connection between health, healing, and family.
