About Misty:

I am a Speech Language Pathologist, Certified Orofacial Myologist®, and owner of Pillar Speech Therapy, LLC.

I attended graduate school in Houston and have experience working in private practice, public schools, and an acute inpatient rehabilitation facility. I have performed the diagnosis and treatment of disorders related to orofacial myology, receptive, expressive, and social language skills, articulation and phonological processing skills, apraxia, feeding and sensory aversions and swallowing difficulties.

For the past 9 years, I have focused my clinical skills on treating early childhood intervention and myofunctional disorders, assisting with pre/post tongue-tie releases.

I am passionate about working with children and their families, and I love collaborating with other professionals. I'm excited to be a part of your team!
