Rockin’ & Roarin’ with The Tokens
Everyone knows the song “The Lion Sleeps Tonight.” Well, The Tokens, the group that originally brought the world that amazing song, lives on through second- and third-generation members Noah and Solomon Margo. Beyond “The Lion,” The Tokens recorded and produced some of the ’60s and ’70s greatest hits, including The Chiffons’ “One Fine Day,” Tony Orlando and Dawn’s “Knock Three Times,” and The Happenings’ “See You in September,” along with countless others. Noah toured with the original group, which included both his father, Phil, and his uncle, Mitch, for over 25 years. Their new configuration honors that legacy with a show that has been happily surprising audiences since 2022.
