Portland-based songwriter Chris Baron took top honors at the 2022 Tucson Folk Festival Songwriting Competition. His music combines clever lyricism with genuine emotion, and he’s currently working on a new album. Baron has recently performed alongside cellist Starchild and collaborated with Gabe Witcher of Punch Brothers.
