FreeWorld-renowned ceramicist Jorge Quintana is a master of Mata Ortiz pottery, a style founded by Juan Quezada Celado that recreates centuries-old pottery using traditional techniques. Quintana commands the entire process—from digging clay to forming, firing, and painting each piece.
Watch artist demonstrations and live pottery firings at 11 AM and 1 PM (weather permitting). Pottery available for purchase, along with vibrant Zapotec rugs.
