Racing runs 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.\, and spectators are welcome to attend at no cost. \nMore than 600 professional cyclists are expected to compete in Oro Valley’s circuit finale\, delivering a fast\, crowd-friendly day of racing and supporting local tourism activity. Based on prior-year estimates\, the event is anticipated to drive more than $180\,000 in regional visitor spending across lodging\, restaurants\, and retail. \nAbout the Oro Valley Circuit Race\nThe Oro Valley circuit features a 2.8-mile/4.5-km loop with rolling terrain and a decisive uphill finish on Musette Drive that regularly produces dramatic late-race moves and sprint finishes. \nThis year’s course-day experience also gets an upgrade for fans\, with improved spectator access\, food trucks\, and a beer garden at the finish line. \n“Since the Oro Valley Circuit is the fourth and final day of racing\, the competition will be fierce\,” said Crystal Franke\, Oro Valley’s Destination Marketing Manager. “It’s a great way for people of all ages to experience the excitement of professional cycling right here in our community.” \nThe Tucson Bicycle Classic runs Feb. 19–22\, 2026\, culminating in Oro Valley for the finale stage. \nStart the day with the TBC Oro Valley 5K\nBefore the circuit finale begins\, runners and walkers can take on a 5K that uses the same Naranja Park course as the professional cyclists. Check-in begins at 6:30 a.m.\, the 5K starts at 7:15 a.m.\, and participants must be off the course by 8:30 a.m. so bike racing can begin. After finishing\, participants can stick around to watch the action and enjoy finish-line refreshments for guests 21+. DESCRIPTION:The Town of Oro Valley invites all community members to help us celebrate the Town’s 50th Anniversary by joining us for the “50 Trees for 50 Years” community tree planting event on Saturday\, April 27\, starting at 9 a.m. \nThis event promises to be a memorable occasion\, bringing together neighbors\, friends and families to contribute to the beautification of our community. \nRoll up your sleeves and be a part of history as we plant 50 trees across four locations in Oro Valley: \nJames D. Kriegh (JDK) Park\, 23 W. Calle Concordia\nNaranja Park\, 810 W. Naranja Drive\nRiverfront Park\, 551 W. Lambert Lane\nand Steam Pump Ranch\, 10901 N. Oracle Road\nStaff will be stationed at blue tents at each park\, ready to assist and guide participants in the planting process. The trees will vary in size\, but most will be small at approximately three-to-six feet in height and one-to-two inches in diameter\, with 15-gallon tree bases. Event participants will help place a few shovelfuls of dirt to complete the planting process. \nWe invite the entire community to join us at any of the designated locations! Key details for attendees:\nTime: The event starts at 9 a.m.\, and participants can choose any of the four parks to join in.\nIdentification: Look for the blue tents upon arrival. Staff in gold shirts will be on hand to provide direction and assistance.\nProcess: Holes will already be dug by our dedicated staff\, so participants can jump right into planting. After planting\, we’ll capture the moment with commemorative photos.\nFor those unable to attend but still interested in contributing\, tree donations are welcomed. The thrilling Tucson Bicycle Classic roars back to Oro Valley this Sunday\, February 25th\, with 500 elite cyclists pushing their limits on the 4-mile Oro Valley Circuit Race. Expect heart-pounding action from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm as riders tackle the challenging course around Naranja Park\, some even taking on an impressive 11 laps! \n“This final stage of the race promises to be electrifying\,” says Andrew Fairbanks\, Oro Valley’s tourism coordinator. “It’s a fantastic opportunity for everyone to witness the intensity and skill of competitive cycling.” \nThe Tucson Bicycle Classic\, sanctioned by USA Cycling\, is a three-day stage race that began with a time trial in Marana on Friday\, followed by a circuit race in Sahuarita and Green Valley on Saturday. This Sunday’s finale in Oro Valley will crown the champions and raise funds for El Grupo Youth Cycling\, a local non-profit. \nHeads Up\, Drivers! Naranja Park will be closed to all vehicles except racers on race day. Expect detours and lane restrictions on Naranja Drive\, La Canada\, Monterra Vista\, and Tangerine Road. \nDon’t Miss the Action!
