Influences span the full breadth of the genre’s golden era: The Beatles and The Rolling Stones\, Creedence Clearwater Revival and Thin Lizzy\, Van Morrison and The Eagles\, The Beach Boys and The Kinks\, The Knack and Tommy James — all of whom you’ll hear at a performance\, alongside a handful of original songs. \nThe band features Oscar Chavez on lead vocals\, guitar\, and bass. Oscar grew up playing in Tex-Mex bands and has performed for President George W. Bush. Russell Long handles songwriting\, harmony vocals\, finger-style guitar\, and bass\, with a musical history stretching back to age 14 across rock\, folk\, bluegrass\, and rock bands including Rocky & His Friends. John McCaleb brings lead guitar\, rhythm guitar\, vocals\, and a seasoned collector’s ear to the stage — widely regarded as one of Tucson’s finest improvisational and finger-style players\, he adds a touch of country to the mix. Rounding out the rhythm section is master drummer “Cowboy” Mike Joyal\, formerly of The Last Call Girls.
