DESCRIPTION:The Oro Valley Historical Society welcomes Interfaith Community Services to the Pusch House Museum!  ICS will be at the Ranch from 9 a.m. to noon\, collecting much-needed donations for the upcoming fall and winter season.  Items needed include instant\, canned\, or fresh potatoes and yams\, cranberry sauce\, canned vegetables\, especially green beans and corn\, boxed and bagged stuffing mix\, boxed baking mixes (such as Bisquick or Jiffy)\, gravy mix or canned gravy\, canned pumpkin\, and cream of mushroom soup.  In addition\, regular pantry items will be welcome\, including peanut butter\, canned meats (such as tuna\, chicken\, and Spam)\, meals in pop-top cans (like chili and ravioli)\, canned pasta sauce (please use cans\, not glass)\, pasta\, and canned fruits and vegetables. \nOn October 4\, from 9 a.m. to noon\, this will be the last day to help Gap Ministries with its request for gently used jeans and shorts (sizes 6-16) to be donated to foster kids. \nWe hope you will support our non-profit organizations\, Gap Ministries and Interfaith Community Services\, by attending Steam Pump Ranch and making a donation. \nVisit the historic Steam Pump Ranch to help those less fortunate\, enjoy the Heirloom Farmers’ Market\, and see the exhibit at the Pusch House Museum.  The display features the history and the restoration of the buildings on the property\, which was a working ranch for over 100 years.  Volunteers will be on hand to answer questions and provide additional information. Tours of the Museum are free\, and donations are greatly appreciated to help keep Oro Valley history alive!

DESCRIPTION:The Oro Valley Historical Society continues its exhibit in the Pusch House Museum\, featuring the restoration of historic Steam Pump Ranch in the early 2000s.  The Ranch\, which has been continuously occupied from the late 1800s until 2008\, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places\, and the renovation was extensive.  Visit to see how the Town of Oro Valley has protected this historic gem.  Volunteers will be on hand to answer questions and provide additional information. Tours of the Museum are free\, and donations are greatly appreciated to help keep Oro Valley history alive! \nBe Our Ranch Guest! \nA new program that involves non-profits helping other non-profits. \nIn honor of our 20th anniversary\, The Oro Valley Historical Society is inviting non-profits to expand their scope at the historic Steam Pump Ranch on Saturdays from now until the end of April. \nFrom 9 a.m. to noon\, Gap Ministries will be at the Pusch House Museum collecting your gently used jeans and shorts (sizes 6 -16)\, which will be donated to foster kids. \nWe hope you will support our non-profit\, Gap Ministries\, by attending Steam Pump Ranch and making a donation.
