SUMMARY:Last of the Red Hot Lovers
DESCRIPTION:The Oro Valley Theatre Company’s February Valentine’s comedy is Neil Simon’s Last of the Red Hot Lovers—the hit play that premiered on Broadway in 1969 starring James Coco. This classic farce returns in a laugh-out-loud revival you won’t want to miss. \nMeet Barney Cashman\, a married\, middle-aged Manhattan restaurateur who’s grown weary of his predictable life. Determined—just once—to break free from routine\, Barney wants to know what it’s like to be with another woman\, to finally stop merely existing and start living. What follows is a hilariously awkward journey through the “Summer of Love” as he attempts to seduce three very different\, very modern women—all in his mother’s apartment. \nWitty\, fast-paced\, and delightfully outrageous\, Last of the Red Hot Lovers is classic Simon at his best. No one delivers comedy quite like Neil Simon—sharp\, insightful\, and guaranteed to tickle your funny bone. \nTicket Information: \nOnline purchases require buying the entire table (no social seating at this time). For odd-numbered parties\, groups\, or to use a gift card or season pass\, please call 520-529-1000.
