In the late 1800’s, what brought people to Tucson, and then why did they move to Oro Valley? Come find out in the Pusch House Museum at the historic Steam Pump Ranch on North Oracle Road in Oro Valley. You will be surprised as to the reasons why, the journey they took to get to our community, and what they did when they arrived. The reasons are not the same as those of the people who live here now, that’s for sure! Early settlers and homesteaders were definitely a different breed!
The Museum will be open each Saturday in January from 9 a.m. – noon, and docents will be on hand to answer questions. Tours are free, and donations are gladly accepted!
