Public invited to provide input on town manager finalists on April 12
ORO VALLEY, Ariz. (April 6, 2023) —Members of the public who would like to learn more about the two finalists for Oro Valley town manager are invited to attend a Council special session on Wednesday, April 12 at 5 p.m. during which the two finalists will introduce themselves and give presentations on their professional backgrounds. The meeting will be held in Council Chambers at 11000 N. La Cañada Drive. The meeting will also be available via livestream, similar to regular Council meetings.
At the conclusion of the presentations, residents will have the opportunity to provide feedback that will help Council make this important decision. Those who attend the meeting in person will be given comment cards for hand-written submissions. Hand-written cards will be accepted on-site until approximately 7:30 p.m. Those who livestream the meeting can submit their input via digital comment cards. Please see details below.

ABOUT THE FINALISTS
In an April 5, 2023, press release, the Town of Oro Valley announced that Jeff Wilkins and Larry Dorr were selected as finalists for the position of Town Manager. The following is an excerpt. To read the original press release, click here.
JEFF WILKINS
Most recently, Jeff Wilkins served as Director of Administration and Treasurer of Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio for about five years. Prior to that, he served more than 15 years as County Administrator of Kendall County, Illinois, a fast-growing county comprising 12 incorporated cities. Mr. Wilkins holds a master’s degree in public affairs from Indiana University, and a bachelor of arts degree in economics from DePauw University.
LARRY DORR
For the past three years, Larry Dorr has served as the Deputy City Manager and CFO for the City of Westminster, Colorado. Prior to that, he served approximately 16 years as Director of Finance and City Treasurer for the City of Lakewood, Colorado. Mr. Dorr holds a master of business administration from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and a bachelor of arts degree in economics from the University of California, Irvine.
