Public input requested at open house for Naranja Drive Multi-Use Path

February 13 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm MST

free

The Town of Oro Valley and Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) will host an in-person open house on Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2024, to share information and gather public input regarding the design concepts for a new multi-use path along the north side of Naranja Drive, spanning from La Cañada Drive to First Avenue. This two-mile-long, 10-foot-wide path will accommodate pedestrians and cyclists, enhancing transportation options and connections to employment and essential services in the area. The project received $3.449 million in Regional Transportation Alternatives Grants (RTAG) funding and an additional $208,930 in Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) funding. The open house will offer an overview of the project and a chance for residents, businesses, and stakeholders to ask questions and provide feedback. For those unable to attend, additional materials and an online form for questions and comments are available on the ADOT website.
