Pima County Library System branches provide the full array of modern library services.
In Northwest Tucson, the Oro Valley Branch, La Canada and Naranja, is open Monday-Thursday 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; closed weekends. The Nanini Branch, Ina and Shannon, is open 10-6 Monday-Friday, 10-5 Saturday. The Dewhirst-Catalina branch, on Oracle Road in the community of Catalina, is open 9-5 Monday-Thursday, 10-5 Friday.
The Friends of the Oro Valley Public Library, https://www.friendsovpl.org/, operate the Book Shoppe in the library. The Book Shoppe sells donated books, CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, book bags, handmade cards, bookmarks, and many other items to benefit the library ... and you!
Downtown, at the Joel Valdez Library, patrons can find Idea + Space, the second-floor section of the library dedicated to business and non-profit services.
