The Public Safety Personnel Retirement System (PSPRS) Local Board consists of five members. A chairperson, two appointed individuals, and two sworn public safety individuals who are contributing members of the Retirement System. The Local Board typically meets the second week of every other month and is responsible for reviewing and approving benefits for members of this retirement system such as new member eligibility, retirements, disability hearings, and other administrative functions in accordance with state statutes.
Board meetings are typically held every other month at 2:00 p.m. in the Hopi conference room, Community & Economic Development building, 11000 N La Canada Dr.
